Music; an instrument of succour.

You’ve been listening to music, but I’m sure you didn’t really realise what good you’ve been doing to yourself. Did you know that music eases pain? Did you know music could lift your spirit?

Science have proven that music has a physical effect on our bodies. As we listen, music works on the autonomic nervous system, which is responsible for controlling blood pressure and heartbeat, as well as the limbic system, which is responsible for feelings and emotions. (A review of the 23studies by Bradt & Dileo, involving almost 1,500 people in 2009 discovered that music helped to reduce blood pressure,heart rate and anxiety in heart disease patients. The University of Missouri also published in The Journal Of Positive Psychology their discovery that music can benefit psychological wellbeing, too. Music is a very very important part of our bodies, souls and spirits. Music makes us feel better, so continue that art, listen to music everyday, listen to music while working out, listen to music while working, listen to music while studying.
